Inspired by the biggest music festivals across the globe, The Background was contracted by the GPT Group to produce 'Summer Nights Festival’.
Responding to a brief to activate an under-utilised area of Highpoint Shopping Centre, we designed the ultimate pop-up festival. Featuring a custom designed, Coachella-inspired Labyrinth and Frose Bar, guests were met with a live DJ and continued to the open-air dressing rooms for festival styled makeovers by Mecca Maxima. A pop-up Cactus Garden provided the perfect backdrop for those insta-worthy moments!
